Cinema 4D Ascent brought me insane amount of information and experimenting with the software that not my main tool for motion graphics. But after the course I've decided to think how else I can spice up my future work with new 3d flavours.
First exercise starts with setting up materials and basic rendering.

Second exercise was to build a beautiful Landscape (Creative freedom). Something like that https://www.pinterest.com/eyedesyn/nature-product-shot-c4d-ascent/
Third task was to build Rube Goldberg Machine - Rigid body dynamics exercise. Scene's provided, just needed to make it all work. Which is not that simple is it looks like. Dynamics animation renders not exactly as it's seen in the viewport. But whose problems are these? Sometimes it works as it should, just sometimes.
Soft Body +Rigid body dynamics exercise. (Creative freedom, any 3-6 simulations)
Below is the second exercise of the course, but I did it later, when had ideas and time for rendering... Exercise 2: Growth Mindset /Vertex Maps (Creative freedom)
Rigging!!! What a wonderwul thing I never touched before... And it was always scary. But as long as you don't use it in projects - it looks like a strange and unrewarding process. But when everything is built properly it starts to be a really cool time for animation. Provided the scene for rigging and animation.
I just added the music and sound. And added a soul for these robotic hands...
The next task was to rig these guys. (Creative freedom - anything you like. But what exactly?)

As I didn't knew what to do with them, started to experiment with building their "skeletons" and then found it really cool if I could make them dancing or singing. But it's a lot of work I've thought... Started to look for 3d scenery, and found this free 3d model. Checked how it was built and decided that it will be really something interesting. It was needed to use simple Physical render instead of Redshift or Octane, just because they're not supporting Camera Tag (needed for the concert screen). So here's the result. A short toon scene :)
Final Boss - 30 sec explainer project, based on this task.
And here's the result:
That's how it was. Tough and painful, but it worth the efforts.
